Using credit card is the easiest method of payment on Foodbomb.
Here's how the charges work
- At check-out you are charged 100% of the estimated order total
Total order = $100
Credit card fees = $1.50 (1.5%)
Total charge = $101.50
- Once your order is in the completed status the Supplier has confirmed adjustments and the difference is charged/refunded to you instantly, however this may take up to 48 hours to appear on your bank account depending on who you bank with.
- You will receive a confirmation email with adjustments once the order is changed from 'Dispatched' to 'Completed'.
- Your final tax invoice with updated charges is made available to you in the Orders tab.
Setting up and managing your Credit Card on Foodbomb
- Log in to Foodbomb and head to the 'Account' tab
- Click on the 'Payment Methods' tab
- Click 'Add Credit Card'
- Enter your details and away you go!
Deleting your Credit Card on Foodbomb
- Follow the navigation steps above and click on 'Payment Methods'
- Click on the card you wish to delete
- Note if your Credit Card is connected to a pending order you will not be able to remove the credit card until order has been completed
Credit Card Security on Foodbomb
- Foodbomb has integrated with Stripe, the payment gateway, to provide a clear and effective payment strategy for Foodbomb customers.
- Foodbomb does not store your card details internally. Each time you place an order your card details are retrieved from the Stripe platform.

Once a credit has been processed and your order is linked to a credit card the refund will be processed immediately. Note this may take up to 24 business hours to appear on your bank account statement depending on who you bank with.
