Receiving an order on Foodbomb
When a venue places an order on Foodbomb this is sent directly to you via email. For more information on the documents contained in the email please see our Purchase Order, Delivery Slip and Delivery Instruction documents article.
Each order contains venue details, contacts and key after hours delivery information.
New Customer Order
Congratulations, you have received a new order from a customer who hasn't ordered from you before.
- This customer will need to be set up in your internal ordering system (or under the parent Foodbomb account depending on your operations).
- The order will flow through to your email under the heading
'NEW CUSTOMER - Order received #262407'.

Existing Customer Order
You have received an order from a customer who has ordered with you previously.
- This customer should already be set up in your internal ordering system (or under the parent Foodbomb account depending on your operations).
- The order will flow through to your email under the heading
'Order received - Existing customer #262377'.
Updated Delivery Details Order
You have received an order from a customer who has ordered with you previously. However since their last order they have had some important detail changes.
- This customer should already be set up in your internal ordering system (or under the parent Foodbomb account depending on your operations).
- You will need to update their contact information in your system to match
- All updated details are highlighted for you on the Delivery Instructions document
- The order will flow through to your email as a regular Existing Customer Order
- You will receive an additional email flow through to your system with the changes under the heading.
'UPDATE CUSTOMER DETAILS - Order received - Existing customer'.
Top Up Order
A top up order is an order placed in addition to an existing order. The original order has already met your minimum spend and the top up will flow through to you the same way as an existing customer order.
- This customer should already be set up in your internal ordering system (or under the parent Foodbomb account depending on your operations).
- The order will flow through to your email under the heading
'( TOP UP ORDER ) Order received - Existing customer #262606'.
