Some Foodbomb Suppliers work off a first order 'Lead Time'. This simply ensures the Supplier is able to prepare for your order. This may mean adding your details into their system, organising a delivery route or other processes to help provide a smooth delivery!
Please note this will only happen on your first order with that Supplier.
When adding items to your cart you will receive information about the Suppliers lead time.
This message also shows up when you head to the check-out screen to make sure you're aware of the delayed delivery. Your date will automatically default to the next available day.
Once on the check out screen you will be presented with a date selector, your order is allocated on the next available delivery day taking the lead time into account.
This first time order was placed on Thursday, the date selector has automatically assigned the next delivery as Saturday. To change the date further into the future click on the date selector or see our 'How can I change my date' article.
Again, this only applies to your first order with a lead time Supplier.
